I just had a conversation that very clearly revealed how and about what my children and I converse. Note: 10 minutes prior to this I thought fire would come out of my eyes and consume the children.
Alisha: What do you think is harder: being a kid or a mom?
Axel: A mom.
Alisha: Why do you think that?
Axel: Because moms have to clean constantly and that's all you ever get to do.

Just give it a couple of years and the answer (with the same eyes glaring back and all) goes "A kid because they have to be told what to do all of the time and moms just tell you what to do." Got to love the pre teens.
Oh, I love that I'm not the only one that feels like a demon possesses her body sometimes when the kids are concerned. You just made my year.
